National PTA School of Excellence
What is the National PTA School of Excellence designation?
National PTA Schools of Excellence are designated in recognition of their commitment to building an inclusive and welcoming school community where all families contribute to enriching the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.
How do we achieve this designation?
1) The PTA and/or the School of Excellence Committee will survey the school community to help identify areas in need of growth.
2) The results from the surveys are reviewed and the data collected is used to set a shared objective.
3) A plan is implemented to achieve that objective.
4) The PTA will deploy a final survey to the school community.
5) The PTA will submit a final School of Excellence application.
6) We all celebrate our excellence!
What can I do to help our school achieve this designation?
The CES PTA, in partnership with Administration at Columbia Elementary, is applying for the National PTA School of Excellence Program.
Please be on the lookout for a survey that will come home with your child (If you have more than one child at Columbia, you do not need to fill out a survey for each child). These survey responses will allow us to develop a sense of areas at Columbia Elementary that are in need of growth to help strengthen the Family-School Partnership.
Below, we have included access to our survey. The survey is provided in multiple languages. Please click on the image of the survey to be taken to the digital survey. A link is also included that will take you to the pdf version of the survey that you may print and return to the school. You may return the completed survey to your student's teacher in their daily folder. You are also welcome to drop off surveys at the front office. We so appreciate your time in filling this out for us!
