By joining the Columbia PTA, you can vote on PTA business such as adopting the year's budget, bylaws, and electing nominating committee members and future officers. Your membership also gives our local PTA a vote on state and national issues.

Roxana is returning for a second year on the PTA Board as the President. She is very excited to be a part of the great Columbia Elementary community. She has three children and her oldest is in second grade this year. Roxana loves to spend time with friends and family, cook, read, garden, and occasionally exercise. Her goal is to help advocate for all students to reach their potential, help support teachers in their mission, and bring the community a little closer together.

Dana has two boys who will be in 2nd and 4th grade, making this her 5th year at Columbia. She asked her boys what they think she loves to do, and they said reading, being outside, soup, coloring, and mommy time alone.

Tyra is a native of Birmingham, AL and moved to Madison in 2011 to get married. She and her husband, Brian, have three children ages 1 – 6. A former high school history teacher, Tyra has worked as a public-school educator for fifteen years. She believes all children deserve a high-quality education and enjoys working behind the scenes to support that mission. As the Director of Fundraising, Tyra plans to establish strong connections with local businesses and community partners to provide a sustainable form of incoming revenue for the Columbia ES PTA.
