In addition to programs and traditional fundraisers, the Columbia PTA hosts events for students and parents. Book Fairs
Columbia PTA hosts two books fairs during the school year, one in the fall and one in the spring. This is a great opportunity for your children to buy affordable books of their very own! Your child will go to the book fair with their class and parents are welcome as well. At that time, students can purchase books or fill out a wish list to take home. The PTA also holds a Family Night where you can shop together.
Original Art Works
Original Art Works can take your student’s personal artwork and turn it into an array of items. During the art semester, your child will create a piece of art to be used for Original Artworks. Parents will receive a packet with the art work, a brochure with examples of products and an order form. These make wonderful keepsakes and gifts!
Penguin Patch Holiday Shoppe
The Penguin Patch Holiday Store allows your student the opportunity to shop for the holidays. With items ranging in price from 25¢ to $5, your child can budget, select and purchase gifts to surprise their family and friends!
School Supply Kits
Each spring, the PTA offers parents the opportunity to pre-purchase their student’s next years’school supplies. Simply order the rising grade-level kit and the PTA will have a box with all the required supplies ready for pick up at Open House in the fall! Click for the 2011-2012 School Supply List.
