Columbia Elementary PTA

With the Boosterthon Fun Run, the student is the star!  Imagine a program that wraps Fitness, Leadership, and Character together in an unforgettable experience.  Students learn that fitness is fun as they prepare for the day of the Boosterthon Fun Run.  Character lessons come to life as Boosterthon Fun Run team members creatively illustrate integrity, honesty, and caring.  Students also learn about what it means to be a leader during the nine day experience.

Congratulations Columbia!  Our students earned over $24,000 through Boosterthon for the 2011-2012 school year!

General Mills has partnered with several companies to offer this wonderful program to help schools raise cash. BoxTops coupons are found on hundreds of your favorite food and paper products. Each BoxTops coupon is worth 10 cents for our school.

Here's how you can help: 

1. Clip around the coupon, being careful not to trim off the expiration date.
2. Collect as many BoxTops as you like.
3. If possible, attach BoxTops to the form you can print here.  (The form does not have to be full to turn in.)
4. Send the BoxTops to school with your child.
   

For more than 30 years, Labels for Education™ has been awarding free educational equipment to schools in exchange for proofs of purchase from the Campbell family of brands.

Collecting points for Columbia is easy:

1. Clip and save product UPCs from the many participating Campbell's products. UPCs are valued at 1 point and 5 points each. It is not necessary to clip the entire product label, only the UPC barcode is needed.
2. Send your UPCs to Columbia with your child.
   
   

Each time you shop at Publix, have the cashier scan you Publix keychain tag. A percentage of your total will be given back to Columbia. 
This donation can really add up so feel free to get keychain tags for your friends and family too!

Enjoy the City Coupon Books are available for purchase during Open House, PTA meetings and at the front office throughout the year, while supplies last. 
You can also send in this form with your payment and the coupon book will be sent home with your child.  Each book contains over $1000 in savings at Madison and Huntsville area businesses!  

Each semester, Papa John's will give Columbia Elementary 10% of total receipts collected.  The Madison City school with the highest total receipts for the semester will receive an additional 10% of all receipts collected!  Receipts from any Madison County Papa John's location are accepted.  The only pizza that does not qualify for this fundraiser is their specially priced $6 large one-topping pizzas.  The first semester dates for collecting receipts are June 1, 2011 - December 31, 2011.  The second semster dates for collecting receipts are January 1, 2012 - May 20, 2012. 

Collecting receipts is easy:

1.  Remove the price labels only from the side of your pizza box.
2.  Print out this form.
3.  Attach the price label to the form.
4.  Turn the form into your teacher.

Watch the calendar for Columbia Dinner Nights!  Bring your family and join your Columbia friends to enjoy dinner at the restaurant of the month.   Be sure to let your order taker know you’re from Columbia.  A portion of the proceeds will go back to our school.
