Columbia PTA is part of a local, state, and national organization. By joining the Columbia PTA, you can vote on PTA business such as adopting the year's budget, bylaws, electing nominating committee members and future officers. Your membership also gives our local PTA a vote on state and national issues.

Roxana is new to the PTA and to the area. She is very excited to be a part of the great Columbia Elementary community. She has three children of which the oldest is in first grade this year. Roxana loves to spend time
with friends and family, cook, read, garden, and occasionally exercise. Her goal is to help advocate for all students to reach their potential, help support teachers in their mission, and bring the community a little closer together.

She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Civil Engineering degree and most recently worked for a NASA subcontractor supporting the International Space Station. She is now a stay-at-home mom and assistant soccer coach. She looks forward to planning and executing more exciting events for our school.

Dana is new to the PTA board. She joined because there was a need to be filled, and she loved being involved with the school and children. Dana has two boys who will be in 1st and 3rd grade, making this her 4th year at Columbia. She asked her boys what they think she loves to do, and they said reading, being outside, soup, coloring, and mommy time alone.

Niki has been a member of the PTA for several years, but this is her 1st time serving on the Board. This is her second year at Columbia, and she has three children, two 1st graders and an 8th grader. She enjoys volunteering and is excited about being more active in the school.

This is her first year on the PTA board, and she is looking forward to working with all the diverse students, parents, teachers, and staff that make up our amazing school and community.
