Columbia PTA is part of a local, state, and national organization. By joining the Columbia PTA, you can vote on PTA business such as adopting the year's budget and bylaws and electing future officers. Your membership also gives our local PTA a vote on state and national issues.

This is Rebecca's second year on the CES PTA Board, and she is excited to be serving as the President! Her connection to Columbia Elementary involves her two sons where her youngest is following in his big brother's footsteps in becoming an Astro. Go Astros!! Rebecca has obtained dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology & Sociology from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (Go Chargers!!) and a Masters in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from Purdue University Global (Boiler Up, Hammer Down!!). Altogether, her school pride attitude shows that she is ready to be a wonderful PTA President during the 2026-2027 school year!

Lindsey is returning for her 4th year on the PTA Board. She has 2 children, including a 3rd grader at Columbia and a 6th grader at Liberty. She is a professional photographer and a family advocate through CANGD, the Center for Advancement of NextGen Deaf. Lindsey loves working with all the diverse students, parents, teachers, and staff that make up our amazing school community, and she is looking forward to another wonderful school year!

Brittany is returning for a 4th year serving on the PTA Board. She has 2 children, including a 4th grader at Columbia and a 6th grader at Liberty. After graduating from Troy University, Brittany moved to Madison and works in federal contracting. She enjoys volunteering time to support and advocate for the students, teachers, and staff at CES.

Roxy is returning for a 4th year on the PTA Board, and she absolutely loves it—especially seeing her kids’ faces light up when she shows up for their events. One of her favorite things is hearing excited little voices greet her in the hallways. She's currently serving as the fundraising lead and loves finding creative ways to support our school community. She finds it to be a joy to serve and be part of something that makes a difference for all our kids!

Shannon is an event planner/wedding coordinator. She is passionate about celebrating ALL of life's milestones and can't wait to celebrate the students and staff at Columbia.
