The main fundraiser for Columbia PTA this year is Boosterthon!
This is a fun activity that encourages character development as well as physical fitness. It will be not only be fun for the children and easy for the parents but a HUGE success for Columbia Elementary.

These are some FAQ's about the Boosterthon:
How are donations rewarded?
Donations are rewarded just like pledges. A $30 donation equals $1 pledged per lap and $60, $2 etc., because the average number of laps run is 25 to 30.
How many laps will the students run?
Students average between 25-30 laps, however the lap cap is 40. Some students will run more than the average and some will run less. $1 pledged will equal approximately $25-$30 and the maximum amount would be $40.
What is the difference between a PLEDGE and a FLAT DONATION?
A Pledge is the dollar amount given by a sponsor multiplied by the number of laps a student runs. A Flat Donation is the specific dollar amount given regardless of the number of laps a student runs.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes. Any gift given from a sponsor to a school or a parent organization is tax deductible. Please keep your check stub for tax purposes.
When are pledges and donations due?
Students call their sponsors after they have completed the Boosterthon Fun Run and share with them how many laps they completed. Pledges and donations are due one week after the Boosterthon Fun Run. Our 1st due date is September 10th.
